Dare to under or over expose. While I was starting out in photography I had my eye set on getting the ‘perfect’ exposure for the photo that I was about to take. But since I evolved and developed my photography I tend to let go of that need to get the ‘perfect’ exposure. Some compositions, some photos are just meant to be dark or meant to be bright. Yes, you might loose detail in the shadows, yes you might loose detail in the highlights but the outcome, the final photo can be so much more when you let go of restrictions and sail away on creativity. I really like this photo, it’s so simple, so to the point. It’s what I wanted for this shot so I had to under expose it. And I am glad I did!
