Nearby where we live there’s a piece of land full of water, trees, swamps and all sorts of birds. It’s called ‘Onlanden’. The area is used to store loads of water during heavy rainfall. It keeps the feet of those who live in the city dry so to speak. It’s a beautiful place for photography and bird watching. Every now and then I go out on my bike (bicycle) to explore the area and every time I do it amazes me. Narrow paths and roads, small bridges and stunning nature so close to home.
